On Lists.

The Whole List Thing.
I am quite possibly the world's most list-dependant human being on the planet.
And I mean this quite literally. Most of my fellow humans don't understand this obsession at all, and find this particular habit to be one of my worst (second only to my chronic procrastination skills). My lists seem to eventuate out of thin air, for anything and everything. From groceries to inspiring quotes, my little journal has probably copped every check list possible. Heck, I'm pretty sure I still have a 'things to pack' list for our last family holiday to Queensland in May last year on my desk (half un-ticked mind you).
However, there is one thing I believe should never be diminished to a list.
And that list-banned thing is a person; whether this particular human be a potential lover, best pal or a partner in crime - it's dehumanising and plainly, it's wrong.
This post has resulted out of inspiration from a quote from Tumblr that I recently saved, it sums this crime up pretty neatly.

A Reflection.
It's Monday the 2nd of January 2017 and i'm feeling satisfied. I'm feeling nostalgic. I'm feeling good about the future.
Satisfied with the last 12 months and every little moment in between. 2016 was a tumultuous year of growth and steep learning curves directing me toward the opulent golden doors of adulthood. By golly, it was a tough one - but unmistakably a good one.
Nostalgia is entering my mind for the inexplainable moments that fulfilled the last 365 days of my life. I have become a different person because of these.
And positive for what the future holds, but not in any rush to get there. As the days blur into one all too quickly anyway, and I want to experience & bask in each day for as long as possible. I wouldn't dare wish for it to fly past any faster.

5 Abundantly Underrated Everyday Things

5 Seriously Under-Rated Everyday Notions.
Good morning/ afternoon/ evening, whichever's relevant to the beautiful part of the world you're in today. This morning I was sat outside in the sun on my fathers beautiful wooden deck, and I had an epiphany, then three or so more. Lately I've been trying to cope with a mild (but evident) case of bloggers block. But this simple, everyday act of lying in the sun got me thinking about things I'd love to share with you guys. Soon enough I was bolting inside to find the nearest notepad and pen. Five ideas later I was sat back in the Sun's rays feeling rather pleased with myself. So if you're struggling with a case of the common "loss of words and all possible blog post ideas", I'd definitely recommend getting a small dose of the au-naturale Vitamin D.

Today, i'm writing about something rather extra-ordinary compared to my usual Sunday Edit. I thought, instead, that I'd conjure up a list of ten everyday occurances that make us feel good, but we often forget to really, properly, acknowledge.

Back To Normality / School

Feb 3, 2016

So, It's Been A While...
It's currently 2.17pm on February 3rd, 2016 and i'm currently in bed (cheeky, I know!).
It's been approximately 121 days since my last blog post. Within that time I am guilty of refreshing my blog a couple of times per month to see if there's a new piece of writing up on my website, then coming to the realisation that I'm actually the one in charge of making that happen.. This basically demonstrates how bonkers i've become in the space of not blogging.. Anywhoo, this is my first post of 2016, so if you haven't already been blessed enough with the traditional human "Happy New Year" saying, I must contribute mine. I really do hope that this year is a special one for you all.
